About me

Graduating in 2011 with a BA Hons in hair and makeup design, I was quickly noticed and won the world wide Illamasqua, ‘Distinction in makeup artistry’ competition in 2011. I had to battle against other artists from different countries, pitching my design in front of global experts, and creating my look against time, in front of top makeup artists. My expressive makeup application, passion for art and confidence, helped me achieve my goal, to assist Alex Box and Illamasqua’s A/W 2012 ad campaigns.

I was then scouted by Bobbi Brown and fell in love with the products and the philosophy of the artist herself. I was part of the A team, a selection of advanced artists and had some further amazing experiences, working on catwalks, magazine shoots and developing my skills which helped me to become a bridal specialist. Bobbi Brown products are still a constant go-to in my kit today.

I’m now a wife myself and a mum to 2 crazy boys and have been working in the wedding industry full time for 9+ years. I have been part of hundreds of special wedding days and still love the buzz of every wedding morning I’m part of, it also works perfectly around my family and my number 1 job of being a mum. I’m often thanked for bringing a calming vibe to your morning and am always on hand to get you ready or help with any situation on the morning.

My style has narrowed down to exactly what I love doing the most, creating a fresh yet flawless finish and a true believer that you should still look and feel yourself, just an amazing version on your wedding day. You’ll often see me adding flowers to the hair, big glitzy hair accessories or added sparkle to the eyes. I’m always asked what’s my favourite, hair or makeup and every time I say the same- I really don’t have a favourite, I love the power of both when they work together, I love creating tousled hair ups and a smokey lash line and love a statement hair accessory!

I’m based in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, but travel all around Beds/Herts/Cambs and surrounding areas. I’m often found at Bassmead Manor Barns, South Farm, Farmhouse at Redcoats, Milling Barn and Swynford Manor… If I have availability and can juggle my family life, I also travel further in the UK and to destination weddings.

I’m lucky to have many industry professional friends now and am happy to recommend my favourites for all wedding aspects. Often I work with like-minded, chilled, fun suppliers and always try and recommend other great hair and makeup artists when I’m sadly unavailable. Nearly all of my work comes from recommendations and I’m confident I can help create a look that you’ll love too!
